Retired West Allis Police Sergeant Facing Child Porn Charges: DOJ
The Wisconsin Department of Justice on Thursday announced that a retired West Allis police sergeant was arrested in November.

WEST ALLIS, WI — A retired West Allis police sergeant was arrested in November in connection with four charges of possession of child pornography, the Wisconsin Department of Justice announced Thursday.
Robert P. Reynolds, 73, was arrested after police served a search warrant at his West Allis home on Nov. 22, according to the DOJ. The warrant came after three cyber tips of possible child sexual assault material from Reynolds' home internet service, the DOJ said.
If Reynolds is convicted, each charge could carry a prison sentence of up to 25 years. A listed attorney for Reynolds did not immediately respond to Patch's request for comment.

A criminal complaint alleges that Reynolds told investigators he habitually watched child pornography but that "as long as he stops viewing it, then it is, 'no harm, no foul,'" the DOJ news release said.
Investigators asked anyone with information that may assist to call 1-877-242-2352.
