Search For Major Harris: Police Issue Plea
Police are asking community members for information in the search as volunteers and DNR searched Havenwoods State Forest Tuesday.

MILWAUKEE, WI — Officials announced Tuesday that 3-year-old Major Harris is still missing.
"We are still in the process of looking and finding any information that we can use to find the whereabouts of Major," Milwaukee Police Chief Jeffrey Norman said at a news conference Tuesday.
Norman said police needed the community's help and any information would help them in the search.

Volunteers and members of the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources led a search in Havenwoods State Forest, a tweet from TMJ4 reporter Tony Atkins said.
Activist and community advocate Vaun Mayes put out a call Monday for community members to search Havenwoods State Forest near N. Sherman Boulevard and W. Florist Avenue. Mayes asked people to bring water, flashlights and batteries to the search on Tuesday.

Footage from Mayes' Facebook feed showed Milwaukee Police Department officers entering the forest as part of the search. Officers canvassed the nearby neighborhood on Monday, the Milwaukee Police Department said.
Officers found a black Chevrolet Equinox that was identified in the Amber Alert on Monday.
Harris was last seen in Milwaukee on Oct. 9, Milwaukee Police Inspector Paul Formolo said Tuesday. Police issued an Amber Alert for the 3-year-old Saturday.
Harris' mother, Mallery Muenzenberger, was found dead near N. 37th Street and W. Clarke Street on Thursday, Formolo said.
Police said they looked for Jaheem Clark because they believed he was involved in Muenzenberger's killing, Formolo said.
Officers tracked Clark to a house in the 5400 block of North 41st Street and found him dead inside of an apparent gunshot wound Sunday, police said in a statement.
Harris, is 3 feet tall and 40 pounds. He has a light complexion, thin build, black hair in four shoulder-length zig-zag braids and brown eyes, according to the alert.
He was last seen wearing a dark blue T-shirt with a small pocket on the left side, navy blue basketball shorts and no shoes or socks, the alert said.

Milwaukee police said they were getting help from local, state and federal agencies in the search.
