I-43 Lanes Open After Semi Trailer Strikes Pedestrian Bridge
Interstate 43 lanes are open after a semi truck hits a pedestrian bridge near West Silver Spring Drive.
MILWAUKEE, WI — The Milwaukee County Sheriffs Department announced Thursday after 4 p.m. that all three lanes of Interstate 43 near West Silver Spring Drive were open again after a semi truck trailer struck a pedestrian bridge.
Equipment from the trailer fell and struck two passing vehicles, the Milwaukee County Sheriff's Department said in a tweet. No injuries have been reported.
The left and center lanes of the highway were still open and the pedestrian bridge was examined around 4 p.m., sheriffs said.
