High Winds And Slippery WI Roads Expected On Snowy Monday
Light snow will create slippery conditions on local highways Monday morning, while forecasters warn of strong winds in southern Wisconsin.

MILWAUKEE, WI — Light accumulating snow left untreated on roads may cause a slippery commute Monday morning, while the National Weather Service says that strong gusts of wind could blow away unsecured objects and cause power outages in southern parts of Wisconsin.
West winds up to 20 and 30 mph with strong gusts up to 40 mph may stick around until 3 p.m., and forecasters give the likelihood of precipitation at 20 percent. Temperatures Monday are expected to drop from the 30s to the 20s, and possibly to single digits at night.
Temperatures will hover around the 20s and 30s from Monday to Wednesday, forecasters said. Thursday and Friday will warm up slightly with temperatures in the low 40s.
