Teen Arrested After 3-Year-Old Shot In Milwaukee: Police

A 3-year-old is expected to survive after he was shot near 95th Street and Thurston Avenue Thursday evening, according to police.

MILWAUKEE, WI — A 3-year-old was shot near 95th Street and Thurston Avenue Thursday evening and a teenager was later arrested, according to the Milwaukee Police Department.

The baby boy who was shot was taken to a hospital and is expected to survive, police said. It happened around 9:30 p.m. Although police found a gun after the shooting and arrested a 16-year-old boy from Milwaukee, unknown suspects are still being sought, police said.

Charges are set to be reviewed by the Milwaukee County District Attorney, police said.
