Two Women Dead After Double Shooting In Milwaukee: Police

Police said they are looking for a known suspect after a double shooting Thursday, possibly stemming from an argument, left two women dead.

MILWAUKEE, WI — A double shooting near Ring and 5th Streets Thursday morning has left two Milwaukee women dead and police searching for a known suspect, according to a news release from the Milwaukee Police Department.

A 19-year-old woman was one of the two shot around 11:30 a.m., police said. She suffered life-threatening injuries and was brought to a hospital, but later died because of her injuries, the news release said.

A 42-year-old woman was also shot, and died on scene, according to police.

Police said the circumstances leading up to the shooting appeared to be related to an argument. Milwaukee police said they are looking for their suspect.
