Watch as 2 Wisconsin Badgers Target Michigan Quarterback's Head
Video footage captures two hits - including one gut-wrenching collision - that left Michigan Quarterback Dylan McCaffrey clutching his head.

MADISON, WI — Two Wisconsin football players were ejected from Saturday's 35-14 blowout victory against Michigan. Game referees felt the two players, safeties Eric Burrell and Reggie Pearson, targeted Michigan quarterback Dylan McCaffrey's head as he was sliding to the ground. Burrell and Pearson must now sit out the first half of the Badgers' game against Northwestern next week.
With four minutes to go in the third quarter, Michigan Quarterback Dylan McCaffrey went back to pass the ball. Seeing nobody open, McCaffrey ran the ball up the middle of the field. He began to slide, only to have Wisconsin safety Eric Burrell come up to make the tackle.
Referees felt that Burrell used his helmet and shoulder to strike McCaffrey in the head as the Michigan quarterback slid to the ground. According to college football rules, if a quarterback slides to the ground, he is considered down by contact, and the play is over.
