Wet Slushy Snow Through Tuesday Expected In Milwaukee Area: NWS

MILWAUKEE, WI — Much of southeastern Wisconsin, including the greater Milwaukee area, can expect to wake up to the first accumulating snow of the season on Tuesday morning, according to national forecasters.

Monday evening will give rise to the possibility of snow, with chances increasing into Tuesday morning, according to the National Weather Service. A few inches of snow across the area could then come on Tuesday into Wednesday, according to the NWS.

On Tuesday morning the snow could be wet and slushy, lingering through the evening and into Wednesday, according to the National Weather Service.

Milwaukee County could see up to 3 inches with areas further inland seeing more accumulation, according to a forecast map posted by NWS.

Tuesday: An increasing chance of snow throughout the day. High near 36. Rain and snow showers into the evening with further snow possible.

Wednesday: Rain and snow showers are likely with a high near 36.

Thursday: A 40 percent chance of snow showers mainly in the afternoon while mostly cloudy and a high around 29.

Friday: Mostly cloudy skies with a high around 24.
