Windy Weekend Ahead, Tornadoes Possible Saturday In SE Wisconsin: NWS
A wind advisory is in effect for Saturday. National forecasters say brief tornadoes could be possible in SE Wisconsin Saturday morning.
WISCONSIN — High winds that could blow around unsecured objects, bring tree branches down and cause power outages are expected in Waukesha and Milwaukee Counties on Saturday, according to national forecasters.
A slight chance of thunderstorms on Saturday morning could turn into a few brief tornadoes developing alongside a line of showers moving northeast across Milwaukee and Waukesha counties, according to the NWS.
A wind advisory is in effect for much of the state from 4 a.m. until 10 p.m. on Saturday. Gusts of up to 50 mph are expected, according to the National Weather Service Milwaukee/Sullivan. Portions of east central, south-central and southeast Wisconsin are included in the wind advisory. Peak winds are expected from the late morning into the mid-afternoon, according to the NWS.

If you're driving on Saturday, especially a high-profile vehicle, forecasters advised you to use extra caution amid the wind advisory.

Saturday: Showers mainly before 10 a.m. and a temp around 59 by 8 a.m. but falling to 49 for the rest of the day. Windy, gusts up to 50 mph. Into the evening, mostly cloudy and windy.
Sunday: Mostly sunny day with a high around 62. Wind gusts up to 25. Into the evening mostly clear.
Monday: Sunny day with a high near 54.
