Wisconsin Ribfest Parodies 'Ice Ice Baby' In Video
Elkhorn Ribfest will be held July 15-18 on the Walworth County Fairgrounds, 411 East Court St.
WISCONSIN— A Wisconsin festival celebrating smoked meat is promoting its event with a 90's throwback from singer Vanilla Ice. The organizers of the Elkhorn Ribfest produced a video with a parody of the 90's hit "Ice Ice Baby."

The free fest will be held July 15-18 on the Walworth County Fairgrounds, 411 East Court St. Parking is also free. There will be a line-up of music, games and rides.
"Alright pork, don't bring no chicken. I got a sauce that's finger-licking," according to the song.

The video shows a montage of past fests with crowds enjoying messy ribs.
"Dry-rub ain't no first date, seasonings and spices rubbed on the meat. Will they have moist wipes? I don't know. As messy as they are I hope so."
"195 is the temp that I smoke them. I know they are done because they are soft when I poke them," according to the lyrics.
Visitors can vote on their favorite ribs for people's choice, ballets will be located in the T-shirt booth near the entrance. Awards presented Sunday at 6:30 p.m. on the Park Stage. For the community division, cooking starts at 9 a.m., judging from 3 p.m to 4:30 p.m. and awards at 5 p.m. on the Main Stage.
The fest holds a Ribrun which kicks off the festival and is a free to enter, open bike show where you ride and park right in the middle of the festival grounds until full. Arrive anytime between 3 p.m. and 6 p.m. for judging. Food discounts for all riders.
The Bike Show categories are as follows: Best Bagger, Best Bobber, Best Chopper, Best Cruiser, Best Freestyle, Best Vintage. Bikes dismissed before dark. All winners are chosen by the people attending the festival There will also be a Grand Champion that will be crowned. Category winners receive $200 and a great trophy. Grand Champion $350 and an even better trophy.
