Brookfield Man Found Dead In New Berlin Park, Foul Play Not Suspected

Police said their initial investigation into a man found dead at a New Berlin park did not show any foul play or any remaining danger.

NEW BERLIN, WI — A 54-year-old man from Brookfield was found dead Monday morning in a wooded area behind the baseball fields at New Berlin's Buena Park, according to police.

First responders were called around 9:41 a.m. to the park at 16399 West Coachlight Drive. Police said they found the man was already dead and beyond efforts to resuscitate him. An initial investigation did not suggest foul play and the man is expected to undergo an autopsy, police said.

The man's body was turned over to the Waukesha County Medical Examiner's Office for the autopsy, police said.
