• Judge rules against group who sought to move from West Allis schools to New Berlin's (gmtoday.com) — New Berlin residents who hoped to detach from the West Allis-West Milwaukee School District and join New Berlin schools have had their latest petition ruled void by a Waukesha County judge. The decision ends a bid involving 134 homes, following earlier unsuccessful efforts by one family to switch districts over academic, transportation, and COVID-era concerns. District officials and petition leaders declined to comment on the ruling.
