Here's a look back at notable public crime statistics from the New Berlin Police Department for March 16-Thursday.
NEW BERLIN, WI — A couple of residents in New Berlin reported thefts from their vehicles in the past week. A phone scam was also reported, and an area business reported shoplifting, according to the latest public crime statistics reported by the New Berlin Police Department.
Here's a look back at those logs from March 16-Thursday:
- Walmart at 15205 West Greenfield Avenue reported a theft of money to police on Wednesday, logs said.
- Two people took several electronics from a business at 15205 Greenfield Avenue around 7 a.m. on Tuesday and fled in a car, logs said.
- A resident told police someone entered his unlocked car and stole several items on the 13700 block of Montana Avenue around 7 a.m. on Monday, logs say.
- A resident on the 3700 block of Town Road told police on March 19 someone took something from his vehicle in the past month, logs say.
- A resident on the 2900 block of 130th Street told police on March 19 someone had broken the rear window of his vehicle overnight, logs say.
- A New Berlin resident told police on March 17 they had lost several thousand dollars through a phone scam, logs say.
