New Berlin Considered One Of America's Best Small Cities: Report

WalletHub analyzed 1,300 U.S. cities for its 2021 ranking. New Berlin ranked higher than 91 percent of other cities measured by the ranking.

NEW BERLIN, WI — New Berlin earned a spot on a list of the Best Small Cities in America last week. A few cities from Wisconsin made the WalletHub list and New Berlin came in among the top ten percent of the best small cities to live in.

The study compared cities that had a population between 25,000 and 100,000. Rankings were put together with 43 different liveability factors such as housing costs, quality of school districts, household incomes, unemployment rates and other quality of life measures.

New Berlin came in at the 91st percentile with 66.07 points. The city that ranked highest on the list, Sammamish, Washington, received 72.55 points.

New Berlin's ranking puts it among the top 10 percent when it comes to the best small city to live in. Wisconsin cities didn't quite reach into the top ten for WalletHub's ranking, though, Massachusetts took the cake for that.
