Pickup Truck Crashes Onto New Berlin Golf Course, 1 Arrested: Police
A pickup truck crashed through the east fence of New Berlin Hills Golf Course early Thursday and alcohol may be a factor, police said.
NEW BERLIN, WI — A pickup truck broke through the east fence of New Berlin Hills Golf Course early Thursday morning and continued driving before police arrested the driver, according to the New Berlin Police Department.
The truck was driving west on Lincoln Avenue near 124th Street around 2 a.m. when it crashed through the fence and continued west on the course, police said in the news release. Soon after, police arrested a 33-year-old man from New Berlin, according to the news release. Officers arrested the man in the vicinity of the pickup, according to Captain Brad Polczynski.
The incident damaged the golf course and police believe alcohol may have been a factor, according to the news release, but more information was not immediately available.

The New Berlin Drone Unit assessed the damage to the golf course at first, but the full extent wasn't immediately clear, police said.
The golf course did not immediately respond to requests for comment. This story will be updated if we hear back.
