Police Pursuit Of Stolen Vehicle Ends In New Berlin With Stop Sticks

A West Allis police pursuit ended in New Berlin near Calhoun and Greenfield early Thursday, according to the New Berlin Police Department.

NEW BERLIN, WI — A police pursuit of a stolen vehicle ended in New Berlin early Thursday morning when officers used spike strips on it, according to a community notification posted to Facebook by the New Berlin Police Department.

West Allis police had started the pursuit, which wandered into New Berlin around 12:30 a.m. Thursday morning. Four people were inside the stolen vehicle, according to police.

Police used spike strips on the vehicle, causing it to strike the median and come to a stop near Calhoun Road and Greenfield Avenue, police say. All four people in the car were taken into custody and turned over to West Allis police. Nobody was injured in the incident, police say.
