Safety Saturday Returns To New Berlin: Police Demonstrations And More
New Berlin's annual Safety Saturday event is returning on Saturday with police demonstrations, family attractions and more.
NEW BERLIN, WI — New Berlin's annual "Safety Saturday" returns to the Children's Hospital of Wisconsin parking lot on Saturday with a myriad of events on outdoor safety and wellness, the New Berlin Police Department announced in a Facebook post.
The free event takes place Saturday from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. at 4855 Moorland Road, according to a Facebook post from the New Berlin Police Department. The longstanding event is meant to bring public and private safety and wellness providers together with resources to educate people.
Attractions at the event will include demonstrations on vehicle roll-overs, police motorcycles, airbags, vehicle extrication, K-9s, and more. Weather safety, pet safety, personal wellness assessments and other topics will also be in attendance.

Those attending can also expect a DJ, inflatables, a rock wall, a caving attraction, free Sprecher soda, and more, including face painting, the Milwaukee Brewer's racing sausages, a flight for life depending on the weather, and free bike helmets for kids, according to the post from New Berlin police.
