NEW BERLIN, WI —Two businesses in New Berlin reported burglaries in the past week, and several traffic stops ended with arrests for operating while intoxicated, according to the latest public crime statistics reported by the New Berlin Police Department.

Here's a look back at notable entries from those logs for March 16-Thursday:

  • A Racine woman was arrested in the 14200 block of Greenfield Avenue around 1:15 a.m. Thursday for operating while intoxicated after a brief pursuit, logs say.
  • Police arrested a Wauwatosa man on drug charges after they found him slumped over in a vehicle in the 2000 block of Moorland Road around 7 p.m. on Tuesday, logs say.
  • Scrap metal was reported stolen on Monday around 12:25 p.m. from a construction site at 13995 National Avenue, logs say.
  • On Monday, Pomp's Tire Service at 2240 170th Street told police their business was burglarized and several tires were taken, logs say.
  • On March 27, Stephens Trucking at 16885 Observatory Road told police someone had forced entry into the business without permission, logs say.
  • A West Allis man was arrested for operating while intoxicated after a single-vehicle crash near Greenfield Avenue and Sherwood Drive around 10:30 a.m. on March 27, logs say.
