9th Grader Won't Tell Police Source Of Marijuana Vape Cartridge

As authorities continue to grapple with teen vaping, police say a high schooler won't say who sold him a vape cartridge containing marijuana

OAK CREEK, WI —Authorities say an Oak Creek ninth grader isn't telling police who sold him a vape cartridge containing marijuana, or where he got the money to buy it.

According to Oak Creek police call logs, the guardian of an Oak Creek High School ninth grade student said money was missing from the house, he was found with a vape device.

According to police, the guardian showed police the vape device that was discovered in his school bag. Police said the vape cartridge contained THC wax.

Police said they spoke with the student, who was unwilling to give the officer the name of the students he was getting the THC vape cartridges from, nor was he willing to say who stole his guardian's money.

According to police, the officer warned the student about his behavior and the possible consequences. The vape device and cartridge were confiscated and sent to the Oak Creek police department for destruction.
