MADACC Seeks Help For Dog's Surgery

Ruthie came to the Milwaukee Area Domestic Animal Control Commission a short time ago and has become the darling of the animals shelter. She is loved by both staff and volunteers.

During a route examination, our veterinarian discovered a growth on her eye that would require surgery. Staff came to Director David Flagler to see if we could begin a fundraising effort to help Ruthie. The cost of the surgery is about $1,500, too much to ask a future owner to burden with.
