WEAC recommends Bill Kurtz for State Assembly

The Wisconsin Education Association Council is recommending its members in Wisconsin’s 21st Assembly District support the election of Bill Kurtz. The 21st Assembly District includes Oak Creek, South Milwaukee, and a portion of Franklin.

Kurtz stands up for public schools and technical colleges and understands that Wisconsin’s future depends on our state’s great schools. He believes public education builds local economies by preparing young people and attracting the jobs of the future to our communities. He also knows that businesses prefer to invest in states that invest in education, instead of states that cut education funding.
“WEAC members know that Bill Kurtz understands that great schools benefit everyone,” WEAC President Mary Bell said. “He has earned the support of educators.”
