Bender Park Rumble Results In Multiple Charges

OAK CREEK, WI — When two groups of people went to Bender Park in Oak Creek to take part in a fight, it resulted in multiple people getting in trouble - but not right away.

According to Oak Creek police call logs, several people came to the police station at just after 6 p.m. on Dec. 16 to report the details of a fight that happened at Bender Park.

Call logs stated that a group of people went to Bender Park earlier in the day at about 4 p.m. because one person in the group was supposed to fight another person after school.

According to police call logs, as they were waiting in their car in Bender Park, another car passed them at the turnaround point at the bottom of the lot. One person stuck his head out of the sunroof and started shooting a paintball gun at them.

One person was tracked down and arrested for criminal damage to property and battery. A second person was ordered in to court for disorderly conduct.
