Carnival Workers Arrested After Fight at Lions Fest
Two men, ages 18 and 19, were involved in a fight early Monday morning and were arrested for underage drinking and battery.

Two carnival workers were arrested after a fight at early Monday morning.
According to the logbook:
The fight ensued in the parking lot just before 2 a.m. Monday after two men, ages 18 and 19, were kicked out of the bar. Witnesses told police the 19-year-old initiated the fight and punched a 44-year-old man until he fell to the ground. The 18-year-old man then started kicking him, witnesses said.

Another carnival worker who tried to stop the fight was inadvertently punched twice in the face.
Both men were later found on the grounds. The 18-year-old denied being in the fight and said he blacked out. The 19-year-old acknowledged throwing punches but said he was pushed first.

The two men admitted drinking beer, shots and mixed drinks despite being under 21. They were arrested for underage drinking and battery.
Police were reviewing surveillance footage and still investigating.
