Dog Walker Survives Close Call With Car; Police Called: Report
When police questioned the dog walker, she told police she was walking six dogs down the road and was almost hit by a car.

OAK CREEK, WI — A local dog walker who walks dogs along the side of one stretch of road in Oak Creek was the subject of a police call after she said she survived a close call with a driver.
According to Oak Creek police call logs, officers were called to the 9100 block of S. Patricia Blvd. at just before 11 a.m. on Jan. 13 on a report of a dog walker who was almost hit by a car.
When police arrived, they talked with the driver of a car, who said that the dog walker was taking up most of a lane of traffic to walk several dogs and that it was common to see her walking her dogs, encroaching on traffic lanes, police call logs stated.

When police questioned the dog walker, she told police she was walking six dogs down the road and was almost hit by a car. She told police she felt the driver came around the corner really fast and very close to she and her dogs. She told police that she sometimes has to walk further into the road because of snow and ice.
Police told the woman not to allow her dogs to take up space in the roadway. Police are following-up on the case.
