A 27-year-old lost control of his vehicle and struck a utility pole and fire hydrant on Highway 100. Police cited him for reckless driving.

A 27-year-old Oak Creek man said road rage led him to lose control of his vehicle and hit a fire hydrant and utility pole.
That anger was apparently one-sided, however, as the other driver returned to the scene of the accident and denied any road rage.

The man said he and another driver were cutting each other off when he lost control of the vehicle.
However, the other driver, a 56-year-old woman, returned to the scene of the accident and denied any road rage on her part. She said the vehicle came up from behind her at a high rate of speed and went off the roadway.
Police cited the 27-year-old for reckless driving.
We Energies and the Oak Creek Water and Sewer Utility responded to attend to the utility pole and fire hydrant, respectively.
