Fraudsters Bought $48,000 In Gas In Credit Fraud Case: Police
Police said fraudsters made a total of 1,344 unauthorized transactions totaling more than $48,000 between Oct. 5 and Dec. 5.

OAK CREEK, WI — Police in Oak Creek say they took a report of credit card fraud in which the accused fraudsters racked up more than $48,000 in charges for gasoline.
According to Oak Creek police call logs, a person walked in to the Oak Creek Police Department at just after 11 a.m. on Dec. 19 to report a credit card fraud.
Police call logs stated that the Oak Creek Carvana branch had two gasoline credit cards stolen, and a total of 1,344 unauthorized transactions totaling more than $48,000 between Oct. 5 and Dec. 5.

An employee told police that there were temporary employees at the branch up to Dec. 5, and that one of the employees may have stolen the cards.
