The center, located at 340 E. Puetz Road, opened for the first time with a ribbon-cutting ceremony in September. It is the result of a city referendum in 2018 when voters decided to approve the construction of OCPAEC.
The multi-purpose facility was designed to serve the Oak Creek-Franklin School District and its surrounding community. It was made to showcase student performances, but also to offer educational opportunities for students to learn more about live entertainment in a hands-on way, whether that is in marketing, management or show production, the news release said. The 1000-seat facility can also be rented out.
