July 4th Fireworks 2022 Near Oak Creek

OAK CREEK, WI — Cities and counties across the country continue to bring back many of the traditional Independence Day activities that were either canceled or modified the last two years.

July 4 is just around the corner, so it's time to find out what Fourth of July fireworks and festivities are going on near you in 2022.

We have all the fireworks shows, parades and festivals happening in and around Oak Creek so you can start planning now.

Here's what's in store this July 4 in Oak Creek:

July 4 Parade

What: Oak Creek's Annual July 4th Parade with a traditional ice cream finish.
Where: Edgewood Elementary School to American Legion Post 434. (See a map of the route here.)
When: 9 a.m.-12 p.m. on July 4.

July 4 Fireworks At Lake Vista Park

What: Oak Creek's annual fireworks show.
Where: Lake Vista Park.
When: Dusk on July 4.

Parking at Lake Vista Park for the fireworks show will be limited, the city said, so a shuttle service is being offered.

The free shuttles will take people between Lake Vista Park and the American Legion post starting at 4 p.m. with return shuttles running until 11 p.m., according to the city's website.

Due to pandemic surges, counties or cities may adjust or cancel events at the last minute, so double-check with organizers.
