Knights Roll In Playoff Opener

Oak Creek won 63-0 Friday night to advance to the second round of the WIAA football playoffs.

Starting with a Virgil Hammond touchdown run on the opening play from scrimmage, the Oak Creek Knights had no problem with Milwaukee Hamilton in the first round of the WIAA football playoffs Friday night.

The Knights cruised to a 63-0 victory on a chilly and rainy night at Oak Creek High School. The win puts Oak Creek in a second-round matchup next week with Kenosha Bradford, which beat Milwaukee Riverside 34-21.

The Knights beat Bradford (6-3 overall) 42-10 in a Sept. 21 game.
