Kohl's Clothing Theft Suspect Arrested; Police Were Waiting
Police in Oak Creek say they were waiting outside for a suspected retail theft suspect by the time she was ready to make her getaway.

OAK CREEK, WI — Police in Oak Creek say they were waiting outside for a suspected retail theft suspect by the time she was ready to make her getaway.
According to Oak Creek police call logs, a store loss prevention officer from the Kohl's Department Store called police just after noon on Dec. 17, saying that a known shoplifter was in the store concealing items.
Police learned that the woman, a 42-year-old Milwaukee woman, was in the fitting room. Officers staged outside in the parking lot.

According to police call logs, when the woman walked out of the store, police were there to question her. Police said they found a likely getaway vehicle waiting in the parking lot. When police questioned the driver and passenger who were waiting, they told police that the woman inside paid them to driver her to the store.
Police said the driver initially gave officers false identification, and she was arrested for obstructing an officer. The wman inside was later met by police outside and was arrested for retail theft.
