Lt. Peter Olson Promoted to Assistant Chief of Operations and Training

The Oak Creek Fire Department is pleased to announce the promotion of Peter J. Olson to the position of Assistant Chief of Operations and Training. Assistant Chief Olson is an 18 year veteran of the department, previously serving as Lieutenant/Paramedic. He has extensive experience as an emergency services instructor, and has led numerous department committees and initiatives, including the department’s fire investigation and technology programs. In his new role, Assistant Chief Olson will have responsibility for the management of emergency response programs and the training bureau.

Regarding his promotion, Peter said “I recognize this as a wonderful privilege and a weighty responsibility. Many great things have been accomplished prior to me assuming this position and my goal is to maintain the enthusiasm and drive to move this department forward.”
