Mail Truck Hit in Two-Vehicle Accident
Police cited a 22-year-old woman for inattentive driving after a crash on Elm Road last week.

A 22-year-old woman was cited for inattentive driving after she hit a mail delivery truck on Elm Road last week.
According to an Oak Creek police report, the mail truck was parked along the curb about 3:30 p.m. Nov. 19 when the woman struck the vehicle and then went off the roadway.
She then hit a tree in the front yard of a home in the 100 block of E. Elm Road before the vehicle came to rest, according to the report.

Her vehicle sustained moderate damage, while the mail truck's damage was minor.
In addition to inattentive driving, she was also cited for operating after suspension.

A police canine was brought in to sniff the vehicle but made no indications, according to the police report.
