National Night Out Fireworks Are Back On
With some rain and the lifting of the city's burn ban, the organizing committee has decided to go through with the display, traditionally held at the conclusion of National Night Out.

After due to dry weather conditions and the city's burn ban, organizers changed course and will go through with the fireworks, which have traditionally been shot off at the event's conclusion.
The reversal comes after the area received some rain over the past few weeks and the city on Friday. That prompted the National Night Out committee to re-evaluate the fireworks, committee chairwoman Kim Bogadi said.

Though the fireworks are back on, Bogadi said they will be viewed from the ball fields south of the football stadium. That means attendees should bring blankets or lawn chairs, she said.
The fireworks are usually viewed from the football field bleachers, but the stadium is unusable this year .
