No Injuries In House Fire On Mockingbird Lane In Oak Creek
Firefighters extinguished a structure fire early Wednesday morning in Oak Creek near Mockingbird and Bluebird Lanes, authorites said.
OAK CREEK, WI — Nobody was injured when a fire broke out early Wednesday morning at a home near Mockingbird and Bluebird Lanes in Oak Creek, according to the Oak Creek Fire Department.
Firefighters were called out around 6:30 a.m. and upon arrival saw heavy smoke and fire coming from the building, a news release from the fire department said. Firefighters began to attack the fire and laid additional hoses to protect nearby homes.
It took about 45 minutes for Oak Creek firefighters to extinguish the blaze alongside the help of firefighters from Cudahy, Franklin, Greenfield, Milwaukee and South Milwaukee.

The cause of the fire was not immediately apparent.
