Oak Creek High School Robotics Plans Texas Trip After Regional Award
The team says it has begun fundraising for a trip to the FRC Championship Competition in Houston.

OAK CREEK, WI — The robotics team at Oak Creek High School, known as Round Table Robotics, was recently awarded high honors at a competition in Milwaukee, qualifying the team for a competition in Houston, Texas in April, according to a news release from the team.
After an event in Milwaukee on Saturday, the high school team was given the Chairman's Award, which is the highest award given at a regional FIRST Robotics competition. The FIRST organization helps to plan various robotics teams and competitions across the globe.
Students had been working toward such a goal for seven years now, since the team was established, the news release said. Round Table Robotics will be able to bring their robot and team to the Championship Competition in Houston, according to the news release, and fundraising has begun to help them get there.
