Oak Creek Police Catch T.J. Maxx Clothing Theft Suspects
Police said witnesses reported seeing three people leave the store with armfuls of clothing. They were eventually caught, police said.

OAK CREEK, WI — Police in Oak Creek say they caught the people responsible for an afternoon retail theft at the T.J. Maxx in late February.
According to Oak Creek police call logs, officers were sent to the T.J. Maxx at 8571 S. Howell Ave. just after 2 p.m. on Feb. 22 on a report that three people ran out of the store with armfuls of clothing.
Police said a witness reported seeing one men and two women got into a green Ford Explorer with a broken back window, and left toward the Puetz exit.

Police said an officer found the vehicle heading west on Puetz Road, and they were pulled over in the 8100 block of S. 13th Street.
Police said an officer questioned the people in the car, who admitted they took the items from T.J. Maxx. Police said all of the items were returned to the store.

According to police, all three passengers were cited for retail theft. The driver was also cited for retail theft as well as driving with a suspended license, police said.
