Oak Creek Students To Stage 'The Dining Room' By A.R. Gurney

OAK CREEK, WI — Oak Creek High School’s entry in the Wisconsin High School Forensic Association Theatre Festival will be a 40-minute cutting from A.R. Gurney’s The Dining Room.

The play will be presented at a variety of locations around the state as it progresses through the three levels of the festival.

The play, set in the dining room of various family homes at integral points in each family’s history represents the conflicts, arguments, love, and laughter between family and friends in a cherished space. The production team says that every audience member will find someone in this play that reflects their own family and friends.
