Oak Creek Teen Threw Trash Bag From Van, Hit Other Car: Police

According to police, an eyewitness saw the driver of a Mazda 5 throw a bag of trash out of the vehicle, which struck another car.

OAK CREEK, WI — An Oak Creek teen who was seen throwing a bag of garbage from the vehicle he was driving was later arrested after police say they also found drugs in his vehicle.

According to Oak Creek police call logs, officers were sent to the intersection of E. Puetz Road and S. Howell Ave. just after 4 p.m. on March 4 on a report that the owner of a gray Mazda 3 opened their door and threw a bag of trash into the road, striking another vehicle at Howell and Puetz.

Police said the van drove south on Howell and was last seen near Ryan Road. According to call logs, an officer on patrol found the driver in the Lake Vista Parking lot near the pavilion.

According to police, when the officer talked with the driver, they smelled marijuana on the driver.

Police said they searched the vehicle and found 43.5 doses of Adderall, a vape cartridge containing THC oil, three vape pens, a bottle of vaping liquid and a THC vape cartridge box.
