Oak Creek To Replace Three Deteriorating Bridges
Bridges on Marquette Avenue, 6th Street and Nicholson Road received low ratings during inspection and will be replaced.

Bridges on Marquette Avenue, 6th Street and Nicholson Road have deterioriated to the point that the city will replace them.
After the latest biennial inspection, those three bridges received low ratings that prompted the city's engineering department to schedule replacement. The Oak Creek Common Council authorized the department to solicit requests for proposals for design services.
The work will cost about $140,000 and be paid for over the course of the next few years, according to a report to council members.
