Trash And Recycling Pickup Delayed In Oak Creek After Icy Weather

OAK CREEK, WI — Trash and recycling pick-up times will be delayed by one day across the board this week in Oak Creek, according to the city.

Residents who have Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday collection times should leave their carts out for an extra day this week to allow for collection, the city said.

The delay comes after GFL Environmental, the city's trash servicer, canceled collection services for Tuesday because of the severe ice conditions on many southeastern Wisconsin roads, according to the City of Oak Creek.
