Vehicle Break-In Reported In Branded Steer Lot: Report
When police questioned the truck's owner, he reportedly said he went to the Branded Steer that night and parked in the west end of the lot.

OAK CREEK, WI — A man who parked his work truck in the Branded Steer parking lot had his work tools stolen, according to police.
According to Oak Creek Police call logs, a man who went to the Branded Steer Restaurant Friday night in Oak Creek had his truck broken into and $3,000 in tools stolen.
When police questioned the truck's owner, he reportedly said he went to the Branded Steer that night and parked in the west end of the parking lot. When he returned to his truck, he saw that the passenger side door lock had been punched out, and the suspect's burglarious tools were on the ground in the parking lot.

The truck's owner told police that multiple work tools and a Dell laptop were stolen. When police followed-up on the incident, they learned it happened between 5:38 p.m. and 5:43 p.m. Police said a beige van came into the Motel 6 parking lot and pulled up near the man's truck. It left north onto S. 13th Street, according to surveillance footage from a nearby business.
