OAK CREEK, WI — Several women were cited after authorities conducted a prostitution sting operation at a local 13th Street hotel on the night of Jan. 27.

According to police, an undercover officer posed as a customer, and made contact with several women via a website. When the undercover officer met with the women at this local hotel, one tried running from police and the others were cited for prostitution. Here were two notable calls from the police operation.

9:46 p.m. A 28-year-old Milwaukee woman tried running from police after she was caught trying to sell sexual services on a website to an undercover officer.

7:21 p.m. A 39-year-old West Allis woman was arrested after she was caught trying to sell sexual services to an undercover officer through a website.
