• Portage County Tavern League donates $10,000 to community (waow.com) — A $10,000 donation raised by the Portage County Tavern League in Plover is being split among ten local organizations, each receiving $1,000 to keep vital services going. From veterans support and Camp Hope to CAP Services’ family crisis center, the funds are intended to help residents facing tough times and highlight taverns’ role as community partners, not just gathering spots.
   

• Wisconsin's Agriculture And Conservation Leaders Unite To Protect Our Waters And Strengthen Our Farms (wisconsin.gov) — A major statewide agriculture and water-quality roundtable was just held at the Food + Farm Exploration Center in Plover, bringing together about 150 farmers, conservationists, and officials. Participants worked on strategies for Wisconsin’s 2026 Nutrient Loss Reduction Strategy, aiming to cut farm nutrient runoff while protecting drinking water and supporting farm profitability across communities like Plover.
