• Friend of Kyle Rittenhouse among three charged in Harvard armed robbery (wrex.com) — Three suspects in an armed robbery in Harvard, Illinois were ultimately stopped and arrested in Racine County after allegedly stealing jewelry at gunpoint during a Facebook Marketplace meetup. One of those arrested, Dominic Black of Kenosha, previously figured in the Kyle Rittenhouse gun case and now faces additional charges and a $20,000 bond.
   

• ACA health insurance premiums on the rise: 275,000 Wisconsinites at risk as key tax credits expire (racinecountyeye.com) — Many Racine County residents who buy health insurance on the ACA Marketplace could face steep premium hikes in 2026 if expanded federal tax credits expire at the end of next year. About 275,000 Wisconsinites now rely on these subsidies, and experts warn some may lose coverage entirely unless Congress acts to extend them.
