• Hayden Krein inducted into Sparta High School Spartan Athletic Hall of Fame (news8000.com) — Sparta residents packed the high school gym as standout wrestler Hayden Krein was inducted into the Sparta High School Spartan Athletic Hall of Fame during halftime of the boys varsity basketball game. With 163 career wins and a 2016 state title, Krein credited the Sparta community’s support, which continued at a reception at Wisco 8 celebrating his impact on local athletics.
