WAUKESHA, WI — It will soon be time to gather up your little ghosts and ghouls and head out for trick-or-treating.

  • Young children should always be accompanied by an adult
  • Never trick or treat alone
  • Wait to eat any candy until you get home and can check it over
  • Walk on sidewalks where available
  • Cross the street at corners or in a crosswalk and don't run
  • Carry a flashlight
  • Visit only houses where the lights are on.
