39-Year-Old Waukesha Woman Dies In Crash: Report

Reports indicated that the woman was driving south on Highway 67 when the driver of the Ford truck crossed the center line and hit her car.

WAUKESHA, WI — A 39-year-old Waukesha woman is dead and a 26-year-old Waukesha man has been seriously injured after a traffic accident Wednesday afternoon in the Town of Eagle.

According to the Waukesha County Sheriff's office, the woman was behind the wheel of a Subaru Outback was struck by the driver of a Ford F-250 at 4:30 p.m. on Highway 67 just north of Highway NN.

Reports indicated that the woman was driving south on Highway 67 when the driver of the Ford truck crossed the center line and hit her car.

Investigators say the woman died at the scene of the crash. The driver of the truck was transported to the Aurora Summit Hospital with serious injuries.

Authorities in Waukesha County will disclose the name of the woman after her family has been notified. Waukesha Patch is working to find out more about the cause of the crash.
