'Armed' Man Scares Off Suspect In Waukesha, Police Say

WAUKESHA, WI— A man being chased said he was "armed" to ward off a suspect. Waukesha Police were called on Thursday in the 1200 block of West Sunset Drive for a report of a suspicious person. A white man wearing a black hoodie started to follow another man in a parking lot and chased him, according to the police log.

The man told the suspect he was armed causing the suspect to stop chasing him, the log said. The suspect had a limp and was spotted in front of a store.

It is not known if the suspect was arrested.
