Construction Worker Crushed Under Concrete Wall: Report
Officers and rescue personnel responded to a construction site on the 1700 block of E. Broadway.

WAUKESHA, WI — A construction worker in Waukesha survived being crushed by a concrete wall panel on a construction site on E. Broadway.
According to Waukesha police call logs, officers and rescue personnel responded to a construction site on the 1700 block of E. Broadway at just after 10 am. on Nov. 7 on a report of an industrial accident.
Waukesha police said a 26-year-old Milwaukee man was crushed by a falling pre-fabricated section of wall at the construction site that morning.

According to Waukesha police call logs, the man was bleeding from the leg, mouth and nose on the third floor of the building when rescue workers arrived. Authorities reported that the man suffered a significant head injury.
Police say he was transported to Froedtert in Wauwatosa with non-life-threatening injuries and was admitted into a trauma treatment room there. The Occupational Safety and Health Administration was called to the accident site, and is conducting the investigation.
