Working for Waukesha

Waukesha County UW Cooperative Extension recently facilitated a “Community Change Circle” program at Carroll University. This experience provided a unique opportunity for public dialogue where citizens could work together to identify a neighborhood need or issue  and then develop an action plan that leads to a more  thriving community where people will want to live, work and visit. As a result of this program, Working for Waukesha was formed as an initiative to invite and welcome volunteers to help make the city of Waukesha a clean, safe and inviting community.

An Invitation:

The first Working for Waukesha activity will be a spring cleanup in the downtown and along the River Walk.  Everyone is welcome, put on your work gloves and walking shoes and help the community prepare our downtown for a full schedule of exciting events.
